WWII Offshore: Monitor National Marine Sanctuary's Battle of the Atlantic Expedition

Topic:: The Battle of the Atlantic has been called the longest, largest and most complex naval battle in history, running throughout World War II and extending across the Atlantic to U.S. shores. The Battle of the Atlantic Expedition is a multiyear maritime archaeology project to survey and document historically significant shipwrecks lost off the coast of North Carolina.
